India has emerged as leading destination for inbound ‘Foreign Direct Investments’. In the present financial year (2018), deals worth US$97.6 billion have been signed. India’s focus on improving infrastructure and cleaning up $210 billion of soured loans in the banking system has infused this growth and helped investors to brush aside concerns about economic fall out of a global trade war and rising crude-oil prices.
